3rd Colloquium on Mechanical Assemblies

For its third edition, this symposium proposes to take stock of modern mechanical assemblies, and to deepen, in particular, the following fields:

the evolution of assembly processes and approaches,
the application of advanced design methods,
the dynamics of contact in mechanical connections,
prediction of in-service behavior,
assembly characterization techniques,
the development of optimized, new or innovative solutions.

The organization is based on the interventions of experts from different industrial sectors (aeronautics, automotive, railways, energy, mechanics,...), and researchers who will present their work in progress. It will allow participants to compare and evaluate current approaches and technologies in the field of mechanical assemblies and to discover those of tomorrow.

The main themes involved are :

mechanical assemblies 4.0,
tools for pre-sizing connectors,
maintenance strategies,
the control of the tightening of assemblies by deformation,
the vibratory behavior of assemblies,
bonding of multi-materials,
the evolution of standardization.

Organization

Each author invited to present an oral communication or a poster has the possibility to write a paper. The original of the full paper (from 5 to 10 pages) must be sent before June 3, 2019. This text may be published in the journals "Matériaux et Techniques" and "Mechanics & Industry", in agreement with the authors and subject to the acceptance of the reading committees.

Participation fees

Until June 1, 2015, the participation fee has been set at 480 €.For speakers and members of associations (Supméca and AFM), it is reduced to 380 €. A special rate of 200 € is reserved for students. An additional fee of 90 € will be applied for late registrations.

These fees include lunches, coffee breaks, the collection of abstracts as well as the complete texts of the conferences, in electronic format.
