This fifth Colloquium on Mechanical Assemblies proposes to take stock of the work in progress, corresponding to the following concerns :
Modelling and design of joints
Simplified models
Design from global to local
Robust design
Defect consideration (shape/geometry/machining)
Control of joints
Methodology for robust clamping implementation
Tightening at an angle, in tension, etc.
Impact of defects (shape/geometry/machining)
Tightening control (tension measurement, ...)
Non-destructive testing
Reliability, serviceability, wear
Static friction
Spontaneous slipping and unscrewing
Sealing
Industrialization
Limitation of assembly errors
Industrial clamping control
Tightening ranges
Handling of non-conformities
Large-scale assemblies
Multi-material assemblies
Steel, concrete, wood, polymer, composite, ...
Examples of applications : Anchoring of column feet, thermal breakers, ...
Bonding
