Contribution to mechanical assembly design based on knowledge and artificial intelligence

 

Abstract :

Develop an approach to assist in the design of mechanical assemblies incorporating intelligent parts (equipped with sensors, for example, or with shapes dedicated to particular requirements).

 Translate the information collected to be transformed into knowledge and design rules that will enrich the parts and assemblies database in order to assist the designer in decision-making on :
o Design choices ;
o Generation of assembly/disassembly plans ;
o Etc.

The data generated must also allow the CAD engineer to analyze the assembly/disassembly sequences and deduce the design changes.
