Principle : light diffraction (laser) by particles with sizes from 0.04 to 500 µm well dispersed in a carrier liquid ; quantification based on Fraunhofer or Mie assumptions.
Measurement : signals from 64 channels (placed in increasing angular order) after the diffraction of 2 lasers
Software : Size Expert for measurement and processing
Applications : Control of metallurgical powders and analysis of wear debris.
