QUARTZ Laboratory Doctoral Students Day - 2022

will take place on October 27, 2022 at the Université Paris 8.

Participation is mandatory for all PhD students.

• The 3rd year PhD students will present their research work in the form of a "My thesis in 180 seconds" challenge (MT180s, oral presentation).

• The 2nd year PhD students will present their research work in the form of a poster. They can also choose to make an oral presentation if they wish.

• The 1st year PhD students will attend the day.

Each doctoral student presenting in the form of MT180s must make a clear and didactic presentation of his/her research project in three minutes, presenting convincing scientific arguments. The presentation is made with the help of a single slide in simple terms, to a diverse audience.

Doctoral students who are out of Paris at the time of this JDD can participate by sending their MT180s recorded as videos, which will then be transmitted during the JDD to the public in the amphitheatre. Videos should be sent via e-mail by Thursday, October 20 (mandatory).

The day will take place in the morning from 9am to 12:30pm and will be followed by a meal.

Awards :

• The 2 best oral presentations and the best poster will receive a prize to cover the costs of attending conferences.
