Reduced fatigue models of structures assembled by welding junction

Thesis topic of Yao EKRA

Abstract :

This thesis is carried out within the framework of a RENAULT CIFRE thesis. The proposed research aims to provide generic solutions for modelling weld points in fatigue and dynamics. The work carried out should make it possible to build reduced models of structures assembled by welding points, capable of carrying out simulations in times compatible with the development and optimisation of welded assemblies. The parametric models developed will have an explicit link with the design parameters. The models will be implemented in commercial software environments by controlling their uncertainty in relation to high-fidelity reference models. The models will be fed by academic tests carried out on relatively simple assembled structures.
