Program of the seminars QUARTZ 2022/2023
Quartz Laboratory organizes a cycle of weekly seminar on Thursday from 1:15 to 2:00 pm. To encourage inter-site participation, they are systematically organized in remote mode (under Teams and are recorded).

Each theme of the laboratory ensures in turn a session, with the objective to exchange on our models, our tools, our methods and to develop common works.
Once a month we offer seminars held by scientific personalities external to the laboratory.
The format of the seminar can vary depending on the theme, the number of seminarians, the particular request, etc.
In general it is : 30 min of presentation and 15 min of discussion.
The dates are scheduled for the year 2022/23.

Guidelines for doctoral speakers :
The seminar is intended for a diverse audience, most of whom are not specialists in the field you are presenting.
We would therefore like to give you some guidelines for the organization of your presentation :
- 5 min : popularization/contextualization and problems of the research topic
- 20 min : state of the art/methodology
- 5 min : results obtained, difficulties encountered, conclusions/perspectives
The total duration is 45 min (30 min presentation + 15 questions/answers).
