Résumé :
DEPS is a language for modelling system design problems for solving. It is textual, declarative and based on models and properties. It provides a structured representation of system synthesis problems whose architecture is sub-definite. DEPS has been developed over the last ten years and is intended as an alternative to traditional flat problem modelling languages such as AMPL. DEPS is associated with a modelling, compilation and solving tool that has its own mixed constraint programming solver. In this seminar, we will present the current theoretical developments in the features of the DEPS language, as well as the bridges that have been built between DEPS Studio and existing external optimization tools (MILP, MINLP, etc.). Some recent industrial applications in engineering science will also be briefly presented. Keywords : model based system synthesis, problem modeling, problem solving, DEPS language, constraint programming, optimization, linear and non-linear mathematical programming
