Abstract:

The main objective of this work is to provide a brief overview of the regeneration strategy of glass fiber reinforced polyamide composites and recent research in numerical simulation of injection molding, with a focus on the effect of recycling on plastic behavior and processing. The work addresses a number of specific topics, including an experimental investigation of composite regeneration and the effect of the number of recycling operations, modeling of injection molding and in situ material behavior, and finite element computation.
